Research assistant Linden Williamson presented a poster at the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minoritized Scientists (ABRCMS) 2024 conference uncovering brain changes that occur with therapy. The entire research team contributed to the project, resulting in an ABRCMS Best Poster Award!
The poster explained how specific regions of the brain linked to feelings, memories, and behaviors physically change in recovery from trauma therapy. This work helps us understand how PTSD recovery in adolescents occurs in the brain.
