Bradley Tragord, PT, DPT, DSc<\/h2>\n

Department Chair<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Dr. Tragord is Chair and Program Director of the Department of Physical Therapy at UT San Antonio. Following more than 22 years as an Army physical therapist and healthcare executive, he joined the faculty in 2021 and was appointed Chair in 2024. \u00a0His background includes a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Baylor University in 2007 and Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy and Orthopedic\u00a0Manual Physical Therapy from Baylor University in 2014. Dr. Tragord is committed to building research capacity by fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, mentoring faculty and students, and strategically investing in innovative rehabilitation research. Through the UT San Antonio MOVER Lab, he supports research that advances movement science and neurodegenerative rehabilitation while promoting the translation of scientific discovery into improved patient care, education, and community impact.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jeffrey Kallberg, PT, DPT, RMSK<\/h2>\n

Assistant Professor<\/p>\n

Jeffrey Kallberg, PT, DPT, RMSK, serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at UT Health San Antonio. He brings more than three decades of clinical experience to his teaching in Clinical Foundations I & II and Management of the Complex Patient. A registered musculoskeletal sonographer (RMSK), his academic and clinical interests center on integrating MSK ultrasound into physical therapy practice and education and advancing conservative management strategies for orthopedic and bleeding-disorder populations. He has worked extensively with hemophilia treatment teams and speaks on the role of ultrasound in assessment and rehabilitation. Dr. Kallberg holds a BS in Physical Therapy (University of Minnesota) and a DPT (University of South Dakota).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Breanne Nguyen, PT, DPT, OCS, CLT-LANA<\/h2>\n

Assistant Professor<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Breanne Nguyen is a doctor of physical therapy who is board-certified in orthopedics and a certified lymphedema therapist. She earned her doctorate from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in biology from Texas A&M University. She specializes in orthopedic injuries, cancer rehabilitation, pelvic floor therapy and lymphedema management, including treatment for cancer-related swelling. She also serves on the board of the Lymphology Association of North America to uplift standards of care. She supports the community through pro bono Zumba classes andpresentations at cancer support groups.<\/span><\/p>\n
